Maggie is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist. She grew up in Potsdam, where she currently resides. Maggie studied Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University, earning minors in Exercise Science and Gerontology. Maggie completed her Dietetic Internship at Massachusetts General Hospital where she concentrated in obstetrics nutrition.
Maggie is a Dietitian at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center and recently joined GardenShare, a local nonprofit organization seeking to end hunger and strengthen food security in Northern New York.
Maggie’s goal is to help people make effective, realistic changes for the long haul. She offers nutrition counseling to individuals seeking to prevent disease, as well as to those who are working to manage current medical diagnoses.
Nutrition counseling is especially effective for managing/treating:

- Cardiovascular disease, including hyperlipidemia and hypertension
- Digestive problems
- Post-gastric bypass surgery
